The paparazzi are so crazy right now and Britney seems to need to leave her house 10 times a day to get coffee, etc. She is surrounded by photographers, documenting every boring move. The more negative the story, the more photos taken.

During some of those events where the press is there, it seems that there are probably tens of thousands of still photographs taken in well under an hour. The same might be true of an entertainer, but it seems to me that the President is almost continually in events that have extensive press coverage.

In that regard, I wonder if a president would really stack up because they're only "famous" for 4 or 8 years and then I would think the celebrity thing would slow down considerably (compared to someone with a lifetime in front of the cameras like Harrison Ford maybe, or in particular I thought of the Pope only because of the longevity of their reign...however I doubt any Popes were ever heavily photographed before assuming the throne which is why Pope John Paul occured to me because he reigned so long). Of course, the large banks of cameras the press roll out are an entirely different story (just volume wise, I mean...obviously presidents and other officials get photographed MILLIONS of times really).
