It is in bad shape and it doesn't look like anyone has any interest in bringing it back to its original glimmer, but it is there.

    Again thanks.

    Among "oc-Dean's" Must Do for a non-Disney person .. is ...

    Carousel of Progress and
    Hall of Presidents

And I'm strongly recommending EPCOT for most of the day .. since it's only one day this person has.

But the "magic kingdom" park is a must to atleast walk through for a couple hours - never been .. at least to size it up to Disneyland-Anahiem.

I'd add Mickey's Philharmagic to the must do for a Disney outsider from the left coast. Best 3-D show they have done.

And COP is operating daily at least in May.

I agree .. but this person has ONE day to grasp the WDW Resort for the very first time. This person in Florida for business .. and taking the day to see something within this massive resort. My recommendation is EPCOT. But .. I think this person would be FLOORED at the sight of Cinderella's Castle .. and the overall scale of the 'magic kingdom' park - As this person is use to the 'magic kingdom' park in Anahiem.

I don't know the ticketing structure (1 park hoppers?)....

But if CoP is open .. as it appears to be, thanks to several posters ....

Then I wonder if 2 maybe 3 hours would be fine to walk the 'magic kingdom' park. Just see CoP, and Hall of Presidents .. as they are unique to WDW .. and then take the monorail to EPCOT .. and see as much as possible .. like the Maelstrom, American Adventure, Test Track, Living With the Land, and Spaceship Earth.

I'm giving this person an agenda ... so I'm hoping a poster or two think my idea is feasable. thx! :)
