When did they stop doing these cards? Is it because most people now take cameras/digital equipment and just record the shows/rides? The same generic character postcards seemed to be on sale everywhere.

I too have been disappointed with the selection & fear as with many other things we came to expect they may be gone.

Exterior cards are well and good but the interior shots were high quality. I remember one of the Organist in the Haunted Mansion and a classic exterior of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Art views of MSUSA would be ok but again, nostlgia seems to be taking me over. Are there ebay areas where sad people like myself can relive some of their visits in the 80s and 90s I wonder?

DL seems to have many more ... and DLP has a huge variety (or did as of my last visit in 2007) ... but at HKDL there were NONE to be had anywhere ... looked in almost every shop in the park, none at the HKDL Hotel ... finally found one set of three with the characters on them (not really that great) at the Hollywood Hotel.

I know TDL still does them ... and especially for seasonal events/temp events because a certain former poster here always picks some up for me!

I'm sure some numbers-cruncher in merchandise has decided that there's not enough profit in them ...

But if anyone wants DCL 2008 postcards, my local outlet has them for a quarter (they aren't special!)
