They were very nice and got some mug shots for me signed in the manner of their charcter. Here are those pictures. <a href="http://www.miceland.com/index.php/weblog/signed_by_our_favorites_2/" target="_blank">http://www.miceland.com/index.

I know its a lot to ask, but does anyone know any of these mysterious toonfinders? I would love to find out when and how they book the characters.

You'll find more characters out and about at Walt Disney World these days than you will at Disneyland. Years ago it was the other way around. And you'd think that--for Disneyland's 50th Birthday--they would have more of our friends and family out at the original park. For some reason it's just not working that way.

Since I moved back to CA 10 years ago and started going again, I've seen the "stars" (Mickey, Goofy, etc.) virtually every trip.

So even if WDW out-does DL, DL is WAY better than it was in the past!

My problem is that I have all of those characters already. I am now on to more difficult to get characters. The trouble is there is no way to know if a character is not used at Disneyland, or only in a parade, or they just cannot get anyone who is the right height to play them. Or maybe the character is only dragged out for Halloween or something. If you knew this info you could plan around it. But secrecy and magic keep you from this info. That and maybe there is only a single actor who plays them and they may get sick or something and then where would you be?
