They have a whole crew of wedding staff who specialize in this sort of stuff, and I'm sure they could help with some specific questions. If you want to do it on property, you might be able to get space at one o the non-Disney-owned location in Downtown Disney. I don't know what their regulations are, but they might be more flexible and less expensive than Disney-owned locations. And are you getting married soon, Tasha? Exciting!

It all depends on getting time off, $$ and accomodating family and friends. (I) want to get married at a Disney destination but family and friends would be able to afford vegas over WDW. Some of our family members are a family with 3 kids, so that might be out of the question

There are a TON of places all over Orange County (the California one) where you can have a great wedding of any size, for relatively affordable, and are family friendly. I don't know specifics in Florida, but there have to be places in Tampa, Miama, Vero, or the Florida Keys that would make for a nice wedding, and are still within a day's drive of WDW.

"Did you try calling & finding out what the packaged start at" The cheapest basic package at WDW is $3500. Disneyland is $10,000 and must have 10 nights occupied at a Disney hotel which i cant swing.

I have been invited to a few and have always declined due to the cost involved (airfare, hotels, meals, the need to take time off from work, etc.). I think its somewhat rude to expect all your guests to spend thousands of dollars to attend your wedding. I know that some people will need to hop on a plane regardless of where it's held, but whatever happened to getting married in your hometown where most of your relatives and friends already live?
