As neat as it was getting to see the fireworks from a plane (going into LAX, it just happened to be timed the right way), I think seeing this in person would blow that away. As dynamic of a show it is on the ground, there's literally a whole new dimension added from above. Anybody know what the music is? It sounds familiar, but I just can't place it.

And on a recent Alaska Airlines flight the stewardess announced that Disneyland was welcoming us to Southern California, which I thought was a terribly cute thing to say and had the whole plane buzzing with excitement as everyone peered out the left windows. But now I want to land while World of Color is going on! I've got a few business trips planned for August, and I'm going to try and get the Alaska or Virgin America flights that seem to circle Disneyland at the right time.
