The parks closed early on Friday (at 1PM), and reopened on Saturday. Yes, there is a chance the parks will be closed longer than that, but I think it's worth the chance. One of the things mousesavers.com recommends is getting the vacation insurance since it is hurricane season. I think that is good advice.

Central Florida has missed the brunt of most of the large storms in the last few years though. I'm sure someone like weather.com has more precise data.

But I would just buy the trip insurance, and not let it stop me from going.
