Isn't this in the middle of hurricane season?

And yes it is the beginning of the hurricane season but nature has proven that they can happen any old time.

The parks closed early on Friday (at 1PM), and reopened on Saturday. Yes, there is a chance the parks will be closed longer than that, but I think it's worth the chance.

One of the things mousesavers.com recommends is getting the vacation insurance since it is hurricane season. I think that is good advice.

Actually, June is the beginning of hurricane season - it runs June-November.

I could have sworn September was the worst. Central Florida has missed the brunt of most of the large storms in the last few years though.

I'm sure someone like weather.com has more precise data.

Here's the link if anyone wants it. It's kinda confusing....but oh well, we aren't scientists.

Basically, anytime from June 1 to November 30 is fair game for hurricanes. But I would just buy the trip insurance, and not let it stop me from going.
