I don't watch it either. No offense to people who watch these shows, but I really do expect a little more out of Disney than this latest offering. While it may fit the theme of DHS, I would havehope they could present us with a more original attraction, rather than a rehash of a television program.

I don't go to WDW to be 'entertained' by my fellow guests, although it happens all the time in ways that likely wouldn't make the average person even look ... this just takes the fat guy from Wisconsin (was going to say Minnesota, but that would hit too close to home with a certain spirit!) dancing up Main Street to a whole nother level. It's just more crap disguised as entertainment, albeit in this case attatched to a major TV phenomenon. I'm sure the folks who love character meals and foamhead greetings and Stitch's Great Escape and a giant hat/pinshack will likely enjoy this. But, to me, it just further degrades the Disney 'brand.'

One is amazing, top quality writing, directing and acting that literally leaves you on the edge of your seat (some Spirits just float while watching!) I can't say enough great things about Lost (and not simply because I have been lucky enough to meet many people behind it -- and will likely go to Hawaii to watch filming next year). Lost is simply the best drama on network TV ... and proof that quality isn't dead. You should buy the Season 1 DVDs and start watching. It is quite unique amongst its genre. Idol is simply a talent show where most of the particpants have little. I think it will fit the WDW of 2008 quite well, sadly.

Just like Star Search it will slowly lose it's fame and people will not watch as much. And they will also stop going to the attration. I am one of those that never watch AI, I have a boss who loves it. And recordes it when he can't be at home. What I've seen is you either love it or never even watch it.

I hope the people that see it will love it and hope it's a big success for Disney. Myself, probably won't see it.
