ON the first day (October 1) DD and I went and walked through the castle. On our way through, we received the special silver Mickey ears. All day, people kept asking me where I got them, and CM's kept congradulating us (Yes, I was wearing them!!)

On our last trip, my youngest was fussing and trying to fall asleep in her stroller. I was outside the bathroom in NOS while my older DD was inside. A CM came up to DD2 and started talking to her, asking why she was crying, if she was tired, etc (it was about 9pm). She then pulled an Exclusive Tinkerbell Pin out of her pocket and gave it to DD2. She was thrilled! LOL I quickly put it away though, since DD6 was on her way out and I knew she'd have a kiniption since she didn't get one (this was her first trip trading pins).

So what magical dreams have you received while at Disneyland (or WDW or any other Disney park)?

I was in the Showcase getting my dd's graduation ears embroidered with a special font and the machine kept eating the hat. Many attempts were made and we had to get a new hat from different places.

Anyway, 40 minutes to an hour later (it was a long time), dd finally has grad ears with her name and school initials on them. The gentleman struggling with the sewing machine complimented me on my patience, and said he appreciated me not yelling, which he said is what usually happens.

He asked me how many were in my party, and gave us each a double pin set. Each packet has two identical pins on cardboard backings. The pin has "year of a million dreams" on it. One paper backing says "for you to keep" and the other says "for you to share".

He said that we were to choose someone to share the joy of my patience with.

    Pretty cool.
