    Most are long gone, but some are still there in a different form than they were in these pictures. My favorite of the long gone hotels was the Heidi. They had a pair of suites at the back that were perfect for going with Grandma and Grandpa, and were great when the kids got bigger and we wanted to put them in their own bedroom.

    The link is at the bottom, but I gotta say, the place I never got to stay at, but would have loved to was the Kona Kai!

    I think the Stovall's motels are some of the best examples of Googie!
