But then something happened in book seven, the series started become downright unreadable. Nothing ever happened in the subsequent novels. I stopped reading. He still had two more books left. But I do feel bad for his fans that wanted to see a conclusion to the story.

Originally Posted By smeeeko I never read his books but as a former bookseller met many of his fans.. Regardless of book 12 being complete, I think it's sad he has died. He has left behind some some good books, even if their epic nature has lost some momentum on the path to completion. 58 seems a bit young (and rather wrong) to die and I'm sure he'll be missed.
