Speaking for myself, I would get a hopper because I wouldn't want to miss Soarin', Screamin', TOT, and Grizzly River Rapids.

Or maybe you would just want to spend the day in DL, since there's more than enough to do for one day.

Without it, even if you do choose DL only, you may feel like part of the place is closed off to you and you will get a "grass is always greener" feeling.

If you have not been to a Disney park before or if you don't want to feel in a rush to fit both parks in, DL surely has enough to keep you busy and entertained without a park hopper.

You'd be less rushed feeling like you needed to do both parks :)

i guess this is proof positive that dca is the inferior park. you guys just assumed{{safely i might add}} that the alphabetmom was automatically going to disneyland and the question is whether she should add dca or not.

not to worry though because dca is on the mend and maybe one day we will all assume that dca is the park to hit and we'll debate wether to add disneyland on the same day. funny funny

I certainly wouldn't do a DCA-only visit as a non-passholder, not even if they installed a "Reader's Digest Condensed Version" of GMR in the Studios section.
