Ww sat with our tour guide at lunch; she was very nice and very interesting to talk with. Be advised that we walked almost the entire park during the tour, including a trip out to Tom Sawyer's Island. So be prepared for alot of walking. I would recommend the tour for children 5-10, maybe a little older depending on the child. My daughter is 9 now and she still talks about that tour.

Originally Posted By sarasmom97 The tour started with Alice and the Mad Hatter bringing our tour guide a book that they had "found". The premise of the tour was to return the book to it's owner. There were clues in the book which led us to different characters in different lands. Some of the tour may be changed now as the tree house, which is temporarily closed, was a part of the tour. Also we spent time with Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer, who are no longer characters on the island. But from what I remember, that part of the tour could be adapted to the current "pirate" theme. We went to pretty much each "land" and saw 1-2 characters each time. I don't want to spoil the end of the tour, but the kids ( and the adults too) will enjoy it. Along with the lunch, we also got a "Discover the Magic" pin, if any of you are into pin collecting. We were lucky, there was only 1 other family of 4 with us, so the kids got more 1 on 1 time with the characters we met. It's funny, my daughter just asked last week when we were at Disneyland if we could take that tour again. I said, "But you already know the ending" and she said "I know but it was fun anyways". I think your family will enjoy it. Have fun!
