Yes, I know that's blasphemy coming from me. But honsestly, did they change some ingredient? Change the amount of salt? Go to a different supplier? Is it operator error of some kind?

Wha' happened to my classic snack treat? Or did I just get unlucky popcorn purchases by coincidence?

I know Disneyland still serves Orville Redenbacher popcorn, and on Sunday, I saw a CM pull out of large plastic bag of kernel's (marked with the OR logo), just like in the past.

The one thing that Disney might have changed is the cooking oil, which would match up with their recent Marketing comments re healthier food.

Maybe a CM can tell us if the oil was changed.....

More than likely. I think long term what the "no trans-fat" thing will do is force people back to using saturated fats like palm oil and coconut oil.

Will we any better off health-wise? Not much. But at least the popcorn will taste better!!

Yes, let's eat carrots, salads, and other healthy things... But also allow us some French Fries on occasion!
