It would certainly need waivers to be signed - and might need to be on pricing-par with Richard Petty Driving Experience - but I think a lot of people would love to try it daily.

A large group of my friends were at the filming of one of the episodes, as extras, and they said that the actual filming experience was just painful. Each contestant took at least 45 minutes to an hour to finish the course, and many were begging the producers to let them stop before they were actually done. When those 45 minutes get edited down to a 2 minute segment, and the timer in the corner says it's really 8 minutes, it's entertaining, but in real life it couldn't be less interesting. In the early 90's, when Double Dare was big on Nickelodeon, my family saw them do a little show at the state fair, where they had a family run t a version of the slop-stacle course. It was a really fun little show, but it wasn't nearly as big of an ordeal as Wipeout. They could have something, say it's from Wipeout, but scale it back enough that it would be fun to watch live. I'm not sure how popular the show still is, or how long it has left in it, but it might feel like the American Idol Experience. That show may have been a smash hit, if it came out 7 or 8 years earlier, but as it stands, it came out when the show was fizzling out of the spotlight. I don't think Wipeout ever came anywhere near the popularity of Idol, but I'm also not sure how much longer it will be before the novelty of the show wears off.
