Trader Joe's has a good, organic one that also has no sugar or oils added. Being TJ's you know it has a good price! (I think about 2 bucks)

I heard a real scare story on the radio this morning that made it sound as though practically everybody who ate some of that batch got sick. I suppose they might have been exaggerating. :-/

When I went on the web Fri. afternoon, the Peter Pan peanut butter story was front and center. I clicked on it and read about the states affected the most and ours was one of them. I remembered DS had eaten a pbj sandwich and, like most of us do, eaten some extra pb before closing the jar back up on Tues. night. So, I got the lid and sure enough, it was the 2111 number on the top! This link says we can send the lids back for a refund. (I had 4 new jars of it in my cabinet. I had stocked up on the sale w/coupons and all of that. I hope they don't send me coupons for more pb!) <a href="http://www.comcast.net/news/health/index.jsp?cat=HEALTHWELLNESS&fn=/2007/02/15/588273.html&cvqh=sci_peanutbutter" target="_blank">http://www.comcast.net/news/he alth/index.jsp?cat=HEALTHWELLNESS&fn=/2007/02/15/588273.html&cvqh=sci_peanutbutter</a>
