But if you go to City Hall and complain, here are the "usual" responses... AP holders.... Sorry, but nothing for you... A One Day Ticket, more than likely a comp ticket for another day. A Multi-Day ParkHopper, maybe a free meal as an "apology".
Originally Posted By FerretAfros I realize that it sucks to have to leave the park earlier than you planned on your big cross-country vacation, but I'm pretty sure it would be fair to assume that people would have had more than enough time to do all the attractions and entertainment (assuming it wasn't outside and cancelled in the rain) that they wanted to by that point. All the pictures I've seen from this week have shown the park is practically deserted, including some long shots of the hub/castle area with nobody in them. So no, you wouldn't be able to stay to see the fireworks, but they were probably going to be cancelled anyway. If people made a big trip out to go to the park, they were probably there relatively early (before lunch), which still allows them all the time they would need to do literally almost everything the park has to offer. Yah, they were probably cold, wet, and miserable all day, but that's not really in Disney's control. What they do have control over (getting you on a bunch of attractions all day long) they seem to have been doing a fine job of this week, regardless of the scaled back operating hours.
