Unless they're playing the addition by subtraction game this makes the Disney publicist who actually had the nerve to issue that quote nothing more than an unadulterated LIAR. They've cut back hours EVERYWHERE, and then have the audacity to say costs have been increased BECAUSE OF ADDED SHOWS AND ATTRACTIONS? Michael Eisner, Paul Pressler, Cynthia Harris and whoever else is responsible for this dishonest explanation, when the ONLY honest one is greed, can go to hell.

The Winnie the Pooh ride, that hasn't even been announced by the Disney Public Relations department... won't be riding that this summer. They made over 22% profit at the parks last year, and keep cutting back hours, services, attractions and shows. And you want to tell me that I should like the fact that they are charging more and giving me less????

At the same time, speculating on 50th plans, third gate plans, and current construction of rides and areas that won't see the light of day for another 12 to 24 months doesn't have much bearing on pricing for guests visiting TODAY.

With all the money DL is going to make from this rate hike all going to new attractions for the park we shouldn't expect anything less. Unless all that money is being sucked across the Esplanade to try to bring DCA up to par while DL suffers, but that's not going to happen. DCA is a awsome park capeable of supporting itself. See you on Main Street in 2005, cuz none of us are going to be able to get enough of this awseome parade!
