We are not going to find out if it's a boy or girl, so we need both. I like both classic and unique names, just nothing way out there that people will never remember or be able to spell. The only given is that if it's a girl the middle name will be Marie. It's my middle name and a 4 generation tradition.

The only names we have in mind right now are Chloe and Kylie for a girl and maybe a junior if it's a boy (John). I like the name Aidan, but hubby isn't sure about it. I like Jenna and Sienna too.

    So let's hear your picks!

I just needed to see them and say them first...

What about Lisa Marie? Wait, that's been done. ;>

I can't give you my names cause then if I have a kid they'll be taken already. LOL!

I'm not digging John Marie to much though, you might want to rethink that. ;>

    Ok, seriously I like:

    Celia Marie
    Anissa Marie
    Natalie Marie

I favor Jacob, Zachary, Nathan, Paul or boy names.

    Finally, I'm confused regarding this:

"My girlfriend just named her baby Quinlan which I think is pretty."

    Isn't Quinlan a boys' name?

Boys? I don't know from boys names.

    Keiran is nice
    Stephen is nice
    James is nice
William is a good strong name, as is Robert.
    Gregory is also strong.

Seriously, my own family happens to have the same tradition that TiggerPooh1973 has. My daughter is Danielle Marie, my sister is Karen Marie, and no one should have my mothers name, Louella Marie.

Due to recent experience, I would not name a child with the same first name as the father, as I have and so does my son. The confusion it has created is just not worth it.

I do remember as a kid being very bummed because we could never find anything that was personalized in the stores (pens, bike plates, hair do dads) that had my name on it. So maybe looking at the names on those racks will help you plan!
