We drove 7 hours to the DLH. I tryed my darndest to get upgraded to a room with a view or a suite with not luck after sweet talking 3 different cast members I finally gave up and took what they were willing to give us. We got a room with a view of the parking lot so we could see our truck. LOL We did have a nice view of the fireworks the first night that we were there. We got to the park about 11:00 and DH was hungry after the long drive. We had a nice lunch at the French Market. Once we finished eating we headed straight for the Haunted Mansion and it was wonderful. We all loved the new bride she was awesome! The weather was very over cast and a few sprinkles on and off. We then headed over to the Buzz lightyear ride or so our DS calls it. We rode that twice. Got some fast passes for Space Mountain. DS wanted to go into ToonTown for a bit. Mom and I hung out and did some people watching for a while. By the time that they boys were done playing DH & DS that is we were ready to see if our room was ready. We got back to the DLH and it was 3:00 by now we were all very tired and wanted to relax for a while but with no luck our room was still not ready. So we waited and then finally Yeah! It was ready. We relaxed for a bit then went and got some dinner at Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen and it was very yummy. DH & DS had the filet Migon with oysters. Mom had some shrimp scampi and I had paneed chicken. Everything was so good! We headed back to the park for a few hours until we were just worn out and ready for bed. Thursday- We got to the park for the EE and went on Peter pans flight and Mr. Toads wild ride while we were waiting for SM and Buzz to open. Once they finally opened DS & DH went on SM and mom and I went on Buzz a few time. I love the SM but have a bad back and it had been really ouchy so I did not want to make it worse so have have not gotten to ride it yet. DARN! We had a few sprinkles but the weather was nice cause it was not hot. We hung out for a while in DCA and rode monsters inc. That was a blast I loved it. We also did the soaring. We went back to the room and had some snacks. Hung out at the pool for a while so DS & DH could swim. Went back to the park and ate a late dinner and sat in the Plaza Inn to watch the fire works. They were AWESOME! The park closed early that night for grad night so we all emptyd out of the park like cattle heading for the barn. LOL my DH even gave a MOO every now and then. Friday- Our final day at the park we had breakfast at the Plaza Inn for our DS's birthday and that was a blast! We saw Minnie, Capt. Hook, Winnie the Pooh, Eyore, Piglet, Tigger, Chip, Dale and the fairy god mother. They all came to our table more than once it was a great way to start off the morning. We went on so many ride and had so much fun. I will have to say that that highlight of the day was we met Fidoprincess and her family in DCA. They are such awesome people. She is a wonderful woman with a beautiful family. We were so lucky to be able to meet up with them and hang out for an hour. It was wonderful! We left for home on Saturday at 7:45 A.M and it took us 8 hours to get home. OMG the traffic in LA was a witch! DH was not very happy. lol It usually takes us 6 to 6 1/2 hours to get home but not this trip. But what matters is that we had a wonderful trip and made it home safe! I got really sick with the flu on Sat night thank goodness we were at home cause that would have been a real stinker on a trip. I am finally back on my feet. Thanks for reading our trip we had a blast! Delena ºoº

We did not see Fantasmic while we were there so I guess that could not be the problem and I at everything that everyone else did so it was not a food thing either. I do know that I hate to have the flu I would much rather have a bad cold. LOL I hope that you have a wonderful trip. If you are driving down I-5 take it slow the CHP is out heavy and not playing games. Have fun! Hi officerminnie, Sorry that we missed you. I sure wish that we were back there now also. We are going again in Sept and I just cant wait. Im glad that you had a good time also.

Thank goodness for heated seats in my truck. LOL Our DS always wants me to ride Space Mountain with them but I am so afraid that my back will hurt worse. I love the ride but I have to be a good girl sometimes. LOL
