Then again, for all I know, they could be filing for permits to tear down the walls that block access to the second floor Image Works, that they may have been doing construction in for the last several months, and now only need to remove a wall to call it finished. I really don't think that would happen, but I'm just using my "imagination" for what other sorts of changes could be done during that time.

However, I'm ready for the Imagination v. 4 plus a new movie to replace HISTA. Hopefully, if a new redesign of the ride happens again, they'll return it to its roots and make it similar to the original attraction. However, this demolition project sounds relatively minor. Can we really hope that the Imageworks will reopen upstairs?!? THAT would be awesome!

This way, just like with any other area, if something fails, they have documentation of what was done, and they know (or at least have a general idea) of what went wrong, and who was responsible for it.

They did it to get out of a lot of the superflous beurocracy that normal buildings have to go through, but they still have to do a little bit of it. That's the same reason why they still have to put up the places in DTD/PI that apply for a liquor liscense.
