What a clever solution, that led to some of his most iconic roles! It's also interesting to see how much things have changed since Walt's time. It sounds like Lasseter is much more interested in groupthink and focus groups, rather than an individual vision. It's also interesting that they appeared to be pretty upfront about swapping out directors midway through a feature, as has happened recently with mixed success >>Walt’s name appeared before every production, so if it was good he was known for getting all of the credit...Walt hated directors who tried to take all of the credit due to the heavy team work required to produce animation.<< Please tell me I'm not the only one who see the irony in this (though it's pretty standard for any leader)
