It is already one of the most contrived professions out there, and when they try to come off like they're above it all, it just doesn't work, IMO. Now, as much as I like Tom Hanks as an actor, I just don't see it either. Just because he's a great actor doesn't mean he fits every role. I like the idea of that guy from The Artist, or maybe some unknown.
