Most likely, the kid was trying to unzip the back of the body suit. (or put his hand up into the costume head) Tigger feels what is going on and that is when you see the character lock the kids arm in his and push him away by the face because there were small kids in the front of him. It could have been a case of loosing balance like Imagineerthat states, but I think that is what would have been said in print if that's what happened. That, plus the way the parent is over-reacting, they want to blow this way out of proportion for the media.

Watch the slow motion part, look how off-balance the kid is... on one foot, almost about to topple over. IF Tigger so much as "pushed" him too hard, that kid would have gone over that little fence there. Because the kid didn't, there's no way he hit him "pretty hard.." like the kid says. The costume is bulky, and it's very hard to see with it. In my opinion, Tigger lifted his left hand high to avoid hitting the child below with his hand, turned to hold, grab, or move the tall kids hand, or to grab for something... then his hand 'swiped' the side of the kids head. These people are whining about nothing and obviously, by getting the news media involved, are just looking for plenty of attention. Just looking for an apology? Right. After 3 manager CM's apologized, that's not good enough for Dad. What does he 'really' want? I guess we'll see after all those hit-n-run lawyers see him spouting off in front of the news cameras. It truly makes me ill.. People, just get over it, and move on. From the footage we're all seeing, there's not a single scratch on your kids head.. just his ego. Dan B imtigger Carlsbad, CA

If you look at the video closly (as they do repeat it over and over) He's not "throwing" a punch. Just trying to get that kids arm away from the back of him.

Maybe your son isn't man enough to admit he did something to provoke the character, which cause the whole incident. Maybe it was a playful hit. Maybe you should be a man and admit you could be mistaken.

What scares me though is that if these "accusations" keep happening Disney is going to have to re-think the whole Character Meet and Greet.
