Anywho, last week I asked what top 5 Animated films would you suggest a person who has never seen one watch, and I got some good answers. thanks.
Now this week I would like to know what top 5 classic disney live action films would you suggest to a person who has never seen a disney film?

    1)Mary Poppins. A simple classic.
2)Song of the South. Forget what you hear about this movie being racist its not. find a copy and watch it.
3)The Parent Trap. The original not the remake.
    4) The swiss Family Robinson.
    5) Bedknobs and Broomsticks. The guys here at Laughing place don't like, but I do and always will.

    Thanks everybody.

    1) Mary Poppins - Euff said!
    2) Bedknobs and Broomsticks - King Leonidas (the animated red-maned lion, NOT that "300" guy!) and his wild, funny soccer game
    3) Song of the South - There's nothing wrong with it and the Brer Rabbit animated sequences are great!
    4) So Dear To My Heart - a movie close to Walt Disney's childhood days
    5) Darby O'Gill And The Little People - great viewing for St. Patrick's Day

    My 5 movies:

    1. Mary Poppins -- by far the best classic live action movie. One of my favorite of all time.

Ok, I can't think of any more. I don't recall every seeing anymore live action (I saw Song of the South when I was very little, and while my mom got a copy from eBay, I never watched it). So my only movie is Mary Poppins.

    5) Pirates of the Caribbean: CotBP Let's face it -- it's well on its way to becoming a classic.

Mary Poppins: so beloved, it's hard to imagine anyone not appreciating it.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: The ultimate adventure story & my personal favorite.

The Absent-Minded Professor: wacky comedy, and that basketball game is a hoot.

Night Crossing: Because it is such a serious theme, also a great pic.

The Parent Trap: (the original, of course) It's got comedy, but not so wacky, drama, but not too serious, ad is a great intro to haley Mills.

    Again, I went for variety.
