Should I do some whole cakes maybe, like pound cakes or bundts or do you think individuals pieces is a better idea?

Cupcakes .50-.75..also keep in mind what you personally would pay for fresh homemade baked goods. Keep your recipes simple yet interesting. Don't do too many that would only appeal to a few people. Everyone Loves a good, old fashioned chocolate cake. The more elaborate your recipe the more stress you put on yourself and the less people you appeal to. Everyone loves muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and the traditional bundt cake sprinkled with powdered sugar. Sounds like fun!! Good luck.

I would like to do brownies, but mine, while very yummy, never cut very nicely. I guess I could do them in little disposable foil 8 inch pans and sell them by the pan though.

Be sure to have sturdy paper plates and maybe some plastic wrap.

The ingredients idea from gaydsnywitch is an excellent one. You will probably get a lot of store bought cakes donated because some do not have the time to bake. They sell too. Sometimes for individual slices, which sell very well, I would slice them leaving the homemade as whole cakes. People love to get a homemade anything ~ pie, cake, cookies, fudge, brownies. Have fun counting your profits!!!!

A couple of weeks some kids were having a "hurricane" benefit and I passed on the store bought coffee cakes, now if they had been sliced I went for the cupcakes.
