You can get Beignets (very overpriced ones I might add) at Ralph Brennan's in Disneyland's Dowtown Disney as mentioned, as well they are available at the foodcourt at Disney's Port Orleans: French Quarter. Only get them when they are fresh though. Made a mistake once of ordering them at the FQ foodcourt at WDW once when they only had like a couple that were left under the heatlamp for what seemed like hours. For whatever reason we didn't take them back because we didn't want to be 'complainers'.. (DLR has trained us well). We just didn't finish them and ended up tossing them. Our last trip to WDW they were much fresher, so it could have just been timing. The beignets at Ralph Brennans should be fresher (for $6 and a paper bag they better be!). I don't know where your friend lives, but they have Cafe Du Monde locations in Atlanta and in Las Vegas... not the orginal locations but they are the original cafe of New Orleans that sells them.. hopefully sometime soon! (the New Orleans location I think is still closed)
