They are asking people to send a letter to Buena Vista Home Entertainment requesting that the above be included in a boxed set along with Pearl Harbor. An interesting idea, no? With Disney releasing edited versions of Pearl Harbor to the Japanese and German marketplaces so as not to offend those nation's viewers, with their editing of late of cartoons such as the removal of cigarette smoking in Pecos Bill and the removal of the entire Martin and Coys section of Make Mine Music, and with their resistence to release Song of the South stateside, I would guess that we would not see these programs released. There are some very offensive images and characterizations that were probably deemed appropriate when our country was in the throws of war but would not be considered Politically Correct enough today to be released (at least without being heavily edited). There are some shorts that are more patriotic in theme and less problematic that could make it but I'm not sure that they'd be included on a live-action DVD such as Pearl Harbor.
