You used to have sunny warm mornings and by 1-2 in the afternoon you'd start getting a build up of energy and then it would pour for 90 minutes or two hours. Then it would clear and the sun would come back out and usually at night it would be a bit cooler. Now, it just seems miserable and humid all the time ... and long periods (some like now of days) of rain. But at least Disney is doing its part by forcing people to sweat their asses off by playing games with the AC!

I'd just have to hex the heck out of 'em if they did that to me!! ORDDU: Hmmm...light crowds at the parks, MPierce, duckling?! That sounds like an invitation for your cauldron girls to swoop down into one of them to have some fun on a Sunday afternoon!!! You get all sweaty wet walking around (or getting rained on) then if you go into an icy cold room you get sick. See how thoughtful they are? Besides we won't be spending money if we're sick and miserable.

The earth has always had cyclical weather patterns. I keep waiting for Al to walk the walk like Ed Begley Jr.

Of course now I will have to cut my grass every week. Oops, started ranting, but no mornings are nice, then the build up, then the down poor around the late afternoon/early evening. Hasn't changed much since I was a kid. On the plus side we are out of our temporary drought, hopefully the lake is getting some of this. I don't know if some of my neighbors would be able to live with the 1 day a week lawn watering restrictions they were talking about prior to this rain.

And if the tree huggers (I hugged my gumbo limbo once just to see what it was like ... it did nothing for me, but the tree seemed to enjoy it!) are totally wrong, what harm will have been done ... perhaps some to certain facets of our economy (which is a disaster of its own) ... but what if they are right and we do nothing or delay action? Vast areas of the planet will not be inhabitable ... I'll take my chance with Al Gore on this one. (12th straight day of rain here in paradise!)

We should do everything reasonably possible to eliminate as much pollution as we can. Which in my opinion we are slowly doing, unlike China, and India. Some business must be kept in check because they repeatedly showed their willingness to do what's best for them selves rather than the Earth. I've hugged a tree a time or two myself. It was normally to keep from falling into my own vomit after a stimulating evening on the town visiting the local icehouses. Once again I call on Al Gore to practice what he preaches. I simply view him as a major hypocrite making good money off of an agenda he can't seem to abide by himself. I respect Ed Begley Jr. simply because he actually believes in what he says, and practices it. ~Marry a tree today~

Such a beautiful country and they are just destroying it and killing themselves. I honestly can't imagine living in those type of conditions and am amazed -- and thankful -- I didn't have any health issues. The pace of development with no regard for the environment or health of their people is scary. <<Some business must be kept in check because they repeatedly showed their willingness to do what's best for them selves rather than the Earth.>> Good thing we have TWDC, which thinks it can save the world by making guests uncomfortable and possibly causing health issues by putting governors on their AC. Way to go Jay, Al and Inoverherheadmeg (BTW, just think how truly insignificant she is when I don't think I've typed her name here in months!) <<I've hugged a tree a time or two myself.
