No! and why do you ask. because they were done right the first time. I can`t imagine what brilliant mind could concieve of such a scatterbrained idea like this.It is indeed rough times that we are living nowadays, sad and rough indeed.please leave the haunted mansion alone if you want to make a stupid movie about it that`s fine but please, please, please leave the ride out of it, it`s fine the way it is!

    2) let me get this straight, they aren't going to change the ride, but the movie will change people's perceptions about some of the stuff in the ride, but the movie won't have much similarity to the ride (which it's "based" on)???

    3) Eddie Murphy? I know this isn't "new" news but I still don't get it. Please help.

A temporary overlay (HM Holiday) is one thing, but a complete makeover??? HELP!!! Remember the last time Imagineers tinkered with a classic, namely the original Journey Into Imagination attraction at EPCOT? It scares me to think what they might do with our beloved Mansion!!!

I can see it now, the soothing, spooky voice of Paul Frees as the Ghost Host would be replaced with wise cracking puns from Eddie Murphy!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
This is a Nightmare I DO NOT want to see invade the Haunted Mansions!!!

Well, if PeeWee Herman can navigate us through the Star Wars Universe for a few years . . . .

"heh heh, I meant to do that, It was a shortcut, heh heh!"

Better look out, soon Roseanne will be singing us through "It's a Small World"

You can already see the new promotion for the Halloween Season:

"Just when you thought it was safe to ride (Jaws music in the background) . . . muahahahahahah!!!!"
