I'm just checking to see if anybody has a favorite drink from each country. I'm assuming that we'll want to mostly stick to either beer or wine, but we really have no idea what's any good in the different places (or what's really bad and we should avoid).

As a quick disclaimer, we do plan to spread the tour out over the day and if we get to a point where we shouldn't go any further, we will stop. None of us really expect us to make it past around China or Italy (starting at Mexico) anyway. This will be my first time drinking, so I really don't think we'll go very far, even if we're sharing drinks to minimize their effects.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Italy: Limoncello shots

    America: Samuel Adams

    Japan: Plum wine

    Morocco: Mimosa

    France: Grand Mariner Slush

    Great Britain: Black & Tan

    Canada: Molson, eh?

Mixing is half the fun, but I never do more than 2-3 countries at a time.

The layered margarita in Mexico is great for finding your favorite favor. Mine is the Kiwi and original.

Hated the plum wine so had beers in China and Japan. Actually, Beer is my drink of choice, well, if I can't get a Jack and Coke or a Grey Goose extra dirty martini, so most of the time I just try the different beers. And its really fun to find one I like that I haven't tried before. Hmmm, maybe I drink too much beer......NAH!

Oh, and the Grand Marnier slush, we got ours in Morrocco, started off good but got WAYYYYYYY too sweet really, REALLY fast!

100% correct if you make it the whole way around the world. As I said, I never go more than two or three countries.

Mixed drinks taste really good, and before you know it you are completely wiped out. Never drink, and drive, and always be respectful of others around you. Try to be a Happy Disney Drunk. I'm sure you all will practice moderation, and have a great time celebrating. No one wants to spend their time at WDW driving the porcelain bus.

    Lllllllllllaaaaaaaammmmmmeeeeeee!!

Ferret my friend, if you don't make it all the way around and have at LEAST 3 shots along the way, I'll never speak to you again.

    And no sharing drinks either!

Come on, bro. You only turn 21 once. Make the MOST of it!

The around the world cocktail tour, while fun, is more suited to more experienced drinkers.
For the first time drinker I would suggest starting with one of the frozen margaritas from the stand near the Mexican Pavilion for starters. And then the Grey Goose slush in France.
Remember, take it slow and be sure to eat along the way.
Or you can do what I do and start with a litre of Hefeweizen at the German restaurant. Then get a large hot Sake in Japan. A Black & Tan at the Rose and Crown, and dessert on a frozen margarita.

I made it from Mexico to America (including the Outpost, since my group wouldn't let us skip it) on my own, and then shared the rest of the way. We spread it out over the entire day (first drink in Mexico at noon, last one just before Illuminations started at 9), and I was able to make it to the safari first thing the next morning. I'll put up a more detailed trip report once I get home, but I just wanted to thank everybody for their suggestions. Here's a quick rundown of what we had each place:
    Mexico-Strawberry margarita
    Norway-Carlsberg
    China-Plum wine
    Outpost-Safari brew
    Germany-Hefe Weizen
    Italy-Rosa Regale
    America-Sam Adams seasonal
    Japan-Sake (first shared one)
    Morocco-Sangria
    France-Pommegranite Champagne
    Britain-Boddingtons
Canada-Snake Bite from UK(since Canada's place was closed)

Hope to put more up later, once I actually get back.
