Where is the best place around Town Square to stand and see? :)

Other than that, you will have an excellent view from almost anywhere that's not obstructed by the tree or other decorations. The other idea is to wait in the stand-by line which is located on the north side of the tree. They will open up the leftover seating to those folks first and then fill it in with those around the area. Usually everyone in the stand-by line gets a seat, although it's not guaranteed by any means. Have a great time!

They gave us all buttons that identified us as Candlelight 2006 seat holders and as soon as the parade was gone, we were moved over. They were very good seats in fact and we had a lovely view of everything -- and the candlelight procession went right by next to us.

This was for the 530 concert. They were going to do something similar for the 8 p.m. concert but they had different colored buttons for that show.

    The concert was magical.

And Lisann, when you read this -- we hope you have fun tomorrow at dinner/concert and the tamales were amazing!!!

When I left the park, I noticed your curb spots had been vacated. It was nice to see Dug. Sorry I missed you.

Hi juicer! We went to the early show Saturday. I got there about an hour ahead and got a pretty good spot, near the benches. You have to stay aware of your surroundings and when others move, keep moving in closer! Otherwise, I know from experience that latecomers will just move into any space left in front of those who've been waiting for so long!

Anyway, the show was great! I haven't seen it for years and I'm so glad I got to see it this year!

Not that we saw. We felt very lucky to get those seats. We had already resigned ourselves to standing on the side...and that was fine with me because the music was worth it. But I enjoyed it far more sitting!
