Any suggestions? Thanks!

We pretty much had to just 'choke down' the Chinese food from the same shopping center. It was fairly nasty.

It was very good then, I wonder if it has changed owners since? By the sounds of it I guess I may not want to go back. Maybe I will try Darkbeer's suggestion for chinese

I would stick with the Sandwiches or the Pizza.

Also, there is a new IHOP just south of Katella on Harbor (next to the Radisson), I would say that is walkable.

This last trip we ate at that complex with the Panda place but luckily we didn't go for Chinese. I got a hot dog at the donut store and most of the family got Subway. Come to think of it that was too much like home too.

    Besides what was mentioned earlier....

There is a Hot Dog Place, a Donut Shop and a typical SoCal Mexican Food Place.

It is overpriced and dirty. I last sat at a table there almost 2 years ago when we went with a large group of extended family and each of our children, 3 girls, each brought a friend. I went there for breakfast with our oldest DD and her friend. We were seated without any trouble but I noticed an ant marching across our table, so I squished it and, while icked out, I thought one ant can happen in the best of restaurants, so cut a tiny bit of slack for them. However, when I opened the menu and saw that a 3-egg omlette was $12.99 and any add-ins were $2.99, I almost fell out of the booth. So that would mean that one omelette would cost up to $18.00 for just a couple of eggs and ham and such. Now, I do realize that these servings are huge and can be split between 2 people, but it is the principle of it all. All the other items were in the $10.00+ range, too.

It was while deciding whether or not I wanted to fork over half of our daily budget for food on one breakfast for 3 of our party of 8, I noticed that there was now a convention of ants on our table all conferring on the best way to traverse the wide expance of tabletop.

That was it. I flagged our server and told her that there were dozens of ants on our table, and showed them to her, and then told her that the pricing, while out of her control, was nuts and how much is our coffee? She gave us the coffee on the house and the girls and I left post-haste and went to eat at the
Carnation on Main Street, which I highly recommend for breakfast. Great food, reasonably priced, best ambiance, IMO.

Just my .02 cents, but I will never eat at that IHOP again - ever.
