I asked specifically for the All Star Sports, and the reservation rep told me, "The vast majority of the rooms at the All Star Resorts are NON-smoking, however there are a very limited number of smoking rooms available but they go really fast." The person I spoke to on the phone said my father-in-law could smoke on the balcony. But since SOG is technically federal property, that may not be a good idea. We stayed on Disney the first time we went and off the next. SOG will enable to be right there while not technically on Disney. SOG, for those of you who might be wondering is for military and federal workers and their families. Thanks again. I love these boards!
