    Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay?

    We stayed at Irelands Rustic Cottages at Gold Beach - They had a motel building along with these neat cottages with knotty pine interiors - I think some have ocean views too -

    Now mind you that was 20 years ago - But then it was pretty nice - Ask for the "Camelot" cottage - I guess its the best room they've got -

    We've got 11 family members, age 1 through 71, going on the trip. Our plan is to drive up to Gold Beach for 2 nights to ride the Mail Boats (have to do two shifts due to the baby);

    4 nights in a beach house in Lincoln City (stayed in the same house with friends last year);

    then hit the wild life park in Winton on our way to Bend, spending the night there. Home the following day.

    We do several family trips a year (Thanks Mom and Dad!), but this will be our Big Trip of the year.

    Gold Beach Resort seems to be getting better reviews toward the end of last year, so we may end up back there again. Has anyone stayed in the cottages at Turtle Rock Resort?
