They had to turn all the lights on and cast members and managers got everyone off the ride boat by boat. We reported the drunks to one of the Managers and we were given fast passes that we refused. She told us it happens and they have no cameras set up in that ride. I think the Epcot Food and Wine Festival is a wonderful event, but, unfortunately, some people get ridiculous with the drinking. We've seen other rude and obnoxious behavior mostly due to people's out of control drinking. When we go every year in the Fall, we now always go to the Festival early and cut out in a few hours before people get too drunk. I actually would not miss this Festival if they stopped it altogether. I have nothing against drinking, but I do have something against excessive drinking.

In these circumstances, the best option is to request to talk to a manager in charge of that location..and if such manager is unwilling, unable or simply does not want to help soothe your concerns, take his/her name and go to Guests Services/relations. But here is my assessment.. it seems to me many CMs, and especially managers at WDW, are more and more concerned about calling a guest's attention to an issue of conduct than to ensure the enjoyment and safety of the whole, so such managers seem to be unwilling to help when such concerns (such as rowdy behavior) do happen. There seems to be a lack of training in customer service recovery or how to tackle unpleasant situations. That is where the so called magic of WDW goes out the door. Some times when I complain about anything related to safety or behavior problems.. the standard way of handling seems to be to make me feel like I have the problem for not accepting the situation or issue at hand. It happens to me and others even on these very same boards. So all that's left to say is.. good luck putting in a complain and even better luck getting a resolution to it.

I have called out loud for "Emergency Emergency" in Downtown Disney as I stood in the doorway while the mother and surrounding crowds got hysterical about a baby not breathing. And believe it or not two people rushed over(from the old pizza Napoli outdoor stand) and said they were trained emergency responders where is the emergency? Fortunately the baby started breathing. It took a pretty long time for the ambulance to arrive with the stretcher and emergency equipment. I guess a castmember called it in. The most important thing to do is remain calm and take a few basic classes and use common sense! In response to the original post I would have wanted to get away quickly. It seems common sense is sometimes dangerous in modern society. Agreed?
