We later brought another 2 from the Disney store at HK airport, one of the replacements also broke the moment it was accidently dropped. Both water bottles were broken within a week of purchase.

I complained to Disney and instead of being offered a replacement or refund as i requested,I was offered a cheap set of Disney pins and continuouly fobbed off with messages of how Disney place customer care as a priority. In the mean time I have a 4 year old in tears.

When I used to work for Disney quality and customer care was always top priority

Has this now been replaced by overpriced, shoddy goods mentality.

My husband is a CFO of a bank, if it treated customers the way Disney treats its customers the bank would go out of business.

Anyone else who reads this post and experienced the same problem, please contact me and I will collect the information so I can pass it onto an friend who works for the BBC consumer affairs programme 'Watchdog'

    1. The new lands are a great step forward for HKDL. This will undoubtedly improve capacity and the overall guest experience, but what strategies are there long-term for maintaining HKDL as a multi-day destination for guests?

    2. How does he see Shanghai Disneyland impacting on HKDL's future? Does he feel that this critical time for HKDL will be impacted by a 'new kid on the block'?

    3. Will the original concepts announced back in the 1999 press release - e.g. river rafts, It's Tough to Be a Bug, Toon Town, Peter Pan, Magic Carpets etc - ever see the light of day?

    4. How do I get an interview with Andrew Kam? It would really boost my site's stats! :)

The impression I had (everyone I talked to) is the concepts for Mystic Point and Grizzly Trail are very impressive to the point they wished the U.S. parks where getting these attractions.

It is the Toy Story Land (TSL) where people are having the problem. TSL looks like a bunch of off-the-shelf attractions lightly themed to Toy Story. There is nothing in TSL that is uniquely Disney.

I was able to take about 1 day at HK Disneyland in the middle of a business trip. I had a good time but clearly the park needs more attractions. They really need to work on the Jungle Cruise Skippers as the jokes don't work. The raft ride to the the tree house is also pretty weak. I did enjoy the Lion King show better than the one at WDW.
