Plus usually wonderful weather! I think I read here or on MiceAge about them doing some extra special decorations on the castle this year. Snow, icicles, lights....something new. I think I might miss the tree too...I don't know...I think most of the stuff I'm looking forward to seeing is going to be up like the layovers on IASW and HM, and the snowing on MS. The tree will be up for you to see!! Tree lighting ceremony every night at 5:15 (I think that is the correct time...check the park guide to be sure.) The park will not be open late during the weekdays...but with the lower crowds this was not an issue...and time to enjoy Downtown Disney, the hotel grounds, etc. You MUST have a gingerbread man from the Blue Ribbon Bakery...yummy!! Santa's Reindeer Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch is fun too...live reindeer, cookie decorating, little stage shows, characters walking around. The DCA letters are wrapped in red and white ... DCA has its own tree too. Santa's Beach Blast with a "surfer" Santa. HM and Small World are GREAT...I missed Jack when I was there in May!!!!

Originally Posted By ssturgeo Yes, it snows every night from Veterans Day weekend on....the parade is about the only thing that you will miss. Oh, and sometimes they have not begun making the candy canes or candy cane fudge yet at the Candy Palace....but lots of other goodies to add pounds!!
