I have been there once before when the tree was up and it was so beautiful I want to bring my Mum over to see it but I can't remember if I was there in early or late November. Is it after or before Thanksgiving? I remember lots of stores (outside DL) with cornucopia (sp?) for sale. I appreciate any info re this, thanks.

I think I read here or on MiceAge about them doing some extra special decorations on the castle this year. Snow, icicles, lights....something new. I really hope it happens!

I think I might miss the tree too...I don't know...I think most of the stuff I'm looking forward to seeing is going to be up like the layovers on IASW and HM, and the snowing on MS. I'll be happy with what I get to enjoy.

I think someone posted a website where you could check DL's operating hours from previous years. Does anyone know what this is?

Tree lighting ceremony every night at 5:15 (I think that is the correct time...check the park guide to be sure.) The park will not be open late during the weekdays...but with the lower crowds this was not an issue...and time to enjoy Downtown Disney, the hotel grounds, etc.

You MUST have a gingerbread man from the Blue Ribbon Bakery...yummy!!

Santa's Reindeer Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch is fun too...live reindeer, cookie decorating, little stage shows, characters walking around.

The DCA letters are wrapped in red and white ... DCA has its own tree too. Santa's Beach Blast with a "surfer" Santa.

HM and Small World are GREAT...I missed Jack when I was there in May!!!!

How exciting! All of what you just said got me really excited. It's gonna be my first holiday trip to DL and I'm SO stoked. Does it still snow every night on main street is does that not happen till the parade?
