Does anyone know if it's available on DVD yet?

As far as I can tell, a few episodes have been released on DVD, but not the entire series.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the rest, but if you want to see more -- probably should head out and buy the ones currently available.

I seem to recall Hulk Hogan driving a speedboat in front of the Grand Floridian in an attempt to simulate the ocean. A bit of a stretch.

In fact, I can't remember much about the show other than Hulk Hogan, some 'ultra high tech boat', and that it was filmed at WDW. However, like watching a 'bad' horror movie for the campiness factor, I couldn't stop watching the show for the same reason. That, and of course trying to figure out where in the World they were filming that particular scene. Consider it a 'guilty pleasure' of mine!

Years ago, I remember a local radio station had an interview with Chris Lemmon (son of actor Jack Lemmon and the Hulk's co-star). The interviewer kept asking him questions about his father, and if that helped in getting jobs. Chris, though, only wanted to talk about the 'new' show and how it was a kind of 'buddy series'.

I never saw the show, I think it was shown exclusivly in syndication.

The series started in either '93 or '94, shortly after Hulk Hogan went to WCW. There was a ticker-tape parade for him at MGM, and a lot of the WCW Monday Nitro shows were filmed there.

As for Thunder in Paradise, yes, it was about a ultra-high tech boat...think of it as a non-talking K.I.T.T. Several WCW wrestlers made cameos in the show as well.
