I think that if you just stick to the food that's included and don't drink extra items you should be ok on the money part. Just make sure to partake in all free activities, take lots of your own pictures and you should be fine. Restraint, restraint, restraint!

The excursions can be expensive, but wandering around the towns is free. You may also be able to book tours (maybe of a glacier) through a local independent company for cheaper than booking through DCL. Check Alaska travel guides or the Internet. Even if excursions are too expensive the scenery from the boat and in the towns is gorgeous so you'll have hundreds and hundreds of photo opportunities. And I hear the on board entertainment is free and fabulous on Disney Cruises. Enjoy!

There is so much to do on the ship, the only things we had to pay extra for were fancy drinks and dinner at Palo. Also remember to budget for the tip you will be asked to leave for your servers etc at the end of the trip. In ports there was plenty to do and see without having to spend a whole lot. My favourite was visiting the Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. Do not buy the Disney package for this, when you get to where the shuttle drops you off in town there are several companies to choose from who offer shuttles up to the glacier, I think we paid about $7 or $8 per adult. In the other two ports I think you will find a lot to do and see just wondering about the towns. For more details I wrote a huge trip report in the Cruise section and it was on the front page of LP for a bit. Enjoy your trip, I can't wait to hear all about it.
