We are planning on going up next weekend and I am a little worried.

Has there been any press release from the mouse yet? What is Disney saying in this? I'd hate to see the worst case scenario happen here....

Personally I am still waiting for SARS and the Bird Flu to hit...

Perhaps you might say "for the wrong person". ;)

But yes, it makes perfect sense. IN GENERAL, the flu can be deadly for babies, elderly folks, and others who are otherwise unhealthy (makes sense). But then there's another weird angle where people who are strong and otherwise in good heath succumb to the virus and can't recover. It's my understanding that is due to otherwise healthy immune systems overreacting to the bug and essentially going into overdrive to the point of burnout (in other words it's not the bug, but rather the bodies' reaction to it that kills those folks).

I can see how any kind of flu could wipe out an elderly person or an infant -- especially an infant due to dehydration and lack of appatite.

I would not want to be in the parks with a ton of sick people who want to get their vacations in no matter what.

Might be a good idea for the first aid stations to stock up on some Tamiflu.

Except that you need a Dr. and then a Pharmacist to get it.

They are still coming. slowly covering miles and miles each year. Hopefully they will mix with the European bees and become less aggressive.
