I will never forget the time I enjoyed Disneyland with a deaf friend, and he enjoyed it too because of the special facilities. Or when I was in a wheel chair, how much easier it was to get around than the real world. Taking MAke a Wish Children over the years has been fantastic too. And back in the day when Disney used to assist in research with the AA's to try to also help improve the quality of prostetic limbs. All very amazing things that add social value and act as a model for other organisations to follow. I am glad to see this is not all together slipping. However this is also why I get grouchy with modern Disney attraction rostas. It seems like most additions are toon or thrill, and no a lot else. This diminished the inclusive aspect. One of the most awesome things about Epcot when it opened is 100% of the attractions were accessable and ridable by all. Sadly, the same thing cannot be said today. And golfing adaptations and the pool access are fantastic however, something they have been working on more and more. But this was a really interesting article. Thanks for sharing.
