It was also my first trip to DL in 15 years. It was during spring break and very crowded, yet we still managed to get a lot of rides in and we had a blast. The second set came from October and my friend Erik again came with me to DL to celebrate my 39th birthday. The crowd was much less crowded than during spring break, though there was no Fantasmic and much shorter hours... so we got in about the same number of rides as the previous trip. The main advantage to the smaller crowds was getting to ride in the front seats on Space Mountain after a 15 minute wait total. He asked my name and gave me the nickname "Accelerating Anatole". When he asked if it was true, I said I liked to take it easy and go slow. He said he could tell from the moss all over my face (I have a goatee). He then said my friend must go really fast because he looked aerodynamic (my friend has a bald head).
