That people stood in bad places is not something Disney can account for. Not to mention that the globe replaced water mist screens because they were found unsatisfactory for the show. And btw, do these water screens open up like a lotus flower and shoot fireworks? Thought not. <<The WoC screens are supplemented with many different special effects. No other show like it!>>> Fountains and fire.. that's not many. That's two. But let's think.. fountains and fire... fountains and fire... Where have I seen that before? Oh yeah, RoE, which has fewer fountains but a heck of a lot more firepower in the inferno barge - plus the fireworks.
Originally Posted By yamabuki There's more than just fountains and fire. And they're done in a very different way - WoC has more fire than any other Disney show (a fact confirmed by Disney.) Maybe the water screens were deemed unsatisfactory back then because they didn't look as good as they do now. The mist screen tech for WoC is brand new. Let's hope RoE gets some updates soon because it will look very outdated compared to World of Color.

The torches at the Polynesian Resort have had more "fire" cumulatively then all the shows combined, so what's your so-called fact?
