Do you enjoy shopping? For food? At the mall?

Food shopping I don't mind too much, but like RockyMtnMinnie, the hauling in from the car and putting the stuff away is a pain.

The worst time for it is during the summer. 110 degrees outside and I feel like I need to race through it and race home before the milk spoils and the frozen stuff melts.

This being said from a person who was a personal and corporate shopper for Macy's (and got great reviews), lol. I guess I don't mind shopping for other people. I'm just too picky for myself.

Grocery shopping. Hmmm this week almost $600.00, yeah I'm bad.

Grocery shopping is my longest shopping trip: Discount Grocery Store, Standard 180,000 sq ft Grocery Store, Competing Chain (for some items not sold at the others), European Fine Foods Store, Asian Grocery Store, Deli, Farmers Market, Family Market.

Bah and they said Super Stores made it easier.

Whenever I work in Va. though it amazes me how many old smaller (under 100,000 st ft) grocery stores they have. Course I can't get chitterlings here and only one store here stocks the light corn syrup you guys seem to love. Most stores here have Golden and Amber corn syrup.

I generally don't go to the mall unless with DD. Then it's fun 'cause we're together. Otherwise, I'm long past the time of my life when shopping (browsing/windowshopping/maybe buying something) was fun. I love shopping online and finding the best deal, but for the most part I've stopped that now. Don't need anything, except health supplements. Not too exciting! But I've gotten some wonderful things on... target.com. No kidding. Really cute things from their Converse and designer lines, up to 75% off. I have a whole wardrobe of summer dresses I got for $5 - $18 each. And Converse jeans for $8...

OK I'll stop now!! Yes I love bargains. :)

It is hard to make a real meal out of junk food. Other than that the only shopping I like is going to one of a kind stores. My favorite store is COSTCO, but that doesn't neccesarrily mean I like to go shopping there.

I'm not sure if it's really the shopping part of it that I love, but more so the way that I have to drive 2-3 hours to my nearest outlet mall. That seems like a mini-vacation to me. Love it!

Either way is fine.

999, we have an outlet mall in our town :
I actually prefer the outlets in the town about 45 minutes away, it IS like a get away, not just running downtown to pick something up.
