So, if I buy on-line they mail me a voucher or something? Does that mean the very first thing I need to do at the parks is go to the processing center on Main Street? Yuck! How long does this take and when is they best time to get in line? I wish they could process them at the hotels/DTD.

Also, I can still get the hotel discount before the AP is processed right?

The Main street proccessing line is very empty in the morning but the line gets long towards the afternoon and night. And yes, you get discounts at hotels AND 10-15% off foods and merchandise. BUT you must purchase more than $10 for the discount to work, which is weird :/

You are correct that you will receive a voucher, so you save no time AND you have the added responsibility of making sure you don't lose the voucher.

Is there another way to pre-pay for an AP other than on-line? If you only want to buy an AP how do you get in the gates to buy one at Main Street?

    I'm curious to know also.

Showing the voucher at the Front Desk will allow you to check in and get the correct rate. Then you can get the AP processed when you visit the parks.

Most Disney Stores sell AP vouchers.

And you could park in the 3 hour lot (Free) at Downtown Disney, then go either to the Main Entrance Plaza Ticket booths, or the World of Disney store. Both sell AP vouchers.
