The later more frequently, but they recently updated their menu, and I'm not sure what I think of it. Studios - The choices aren't really all that great. We end up at Backlot Express a lot for burgers. There are a couple of options all together on Sunset Blvd, but it would require people to check out separately. But great dessert options at Starring Rolls. Sometimes, we also time it to just leave the park and eat at Beaches & Cream instead of in the park. We've also never had a good meal at the ABC Commissary. Some people love it, but we've either been told after we ordered that they were out of the thing we ordered, burnt items and just taking forever to get the food.

For MK, I really like the Pinocchio Village Haus. It overlooks its a small world and the main fantasyland courtyard, and just has standard burgers/chicken tenders. I'm not sure if its still open right now because of all the Fantasyland expansion, but its worth a shot. At EPCOT, I'm a fan of the Electric Umbrella. The food is the same as at Pinocchio Village Haus, but still good. There are also good views to be had in the upstairs portion of the restaurant. However, be adventurous and try the quick service in World Showcase. The food in the Mexico Pavilion is marvelous.

Pure Disney magic!

Epcot - Just like this park has the best table service restaurants of all the parks, so too are the counter service. I think the Food Court in the land is the very best quality counter service in the whole of WDW. I also rate the counter service options in Mexico, China, and Japan. The Fish and Chips are not bad at the UK pavillion either (not as great as some of the better ones in the real UK, but not bad). DHS - hmmmmm, never been struck by the counter options here. I remember Backlot Express and Pizza Planet being ok, but not great. DAk - I love Flametree BBQ - great food, great value and as Dan said, some real sublime views. Also the Yak and Yeti. And Pizzafari is ok, not great, but ok, but the decor is very cute.

The Flame Tree BBQ at AK really sounds like the winner for that park. Heard nothing but good things about it. I guess Epcot is gonna have to be a wait and see what we are in the mood for. And after Davewasbaloo mentioned all you can eat Dole Whips...I think I have to go to the Poly for lunch! Plus, I think it would be good to break from the MK for an hour or so. Get away from the hustle and bustle for a bit

Studio Catering Co. has terrific sandwiches(the buffalo chicken stands out), Backlot Express's menu has recently been revamped, and the farmer's market has a lot of good choices at the various stands. Mk's best is really a toss up, but I'd have to go with Pecos because of the toppings bar. Epcot is Sunshine Seasons. Fresh choices, big portions, and good sizes. DAK I guess would be Flame Tree.

It's a half-day park, plan to eat at McDonalds on the way out. DTD: Earl of Sandwich. Walk-up window at Bongos quite good as well. RESORTS: Contempo Grill (do they still call it that?) and Mara (in AKL) both decent.

We had pretty good sausages with peppers and onions at the Studio's, i am not sure the name of the place. Honestly the only great food i had at the MK was at sleepy hollow. For $6.99 my husband and i were able to to share one sweet and spicy waffle sandwich which was awesome! the main street bakery has decent breakfast sandwiches. At DAK i can't suggest anything because i only ate at Pizzafari which i don't suggest LOL.
Originally Posted By hopemax I also agree with the Flame Tree and the sides issue. My Dad and I don't like coleslaw or beans. So for years, we would either 1. They would ring it up "meal only" which resulted in a price about $2 cheaper. It was an option on the touch screen. 2. They would substitute the sides with onion rings. Which was always an adventure, because sometimes we'd get a half order on our plate, and sometimes they'd give us a whole basket! Now, the only option was the bag of grapes that comes with the kids meal. We also tried, over at Pizzafari to order just a pizza, no caesar salad and that was a "no go" either.

Add in an order of onion rings and you have a terrific meal!
