We are making spooky snacks as well, like eye-ball deviled eggs and mudpie pudding cups with worms. BUT... What I need from you fine LP'ers is a sneaky, scary trick I can play on them while they are watching one of the movies. I don't want them to pee themselves, just give them a good jump. Keep in mind they are 16 and 17 year olds...so it can be slightly harsh LOL!! I figure I will attempt this during THE GRUDGE or TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, since these seem to be the most creepy to these guys. I thought about finding one of those fake chainsaws that they use at Halloween Haunt, but thought that might be a little too mean...but still.....Hum. Any ideas?

Or sneak out the back door, come around to the front door and knock really lightly..just enough to "almost" think you hear someone at the door.

OMG, the kids are going to die. When we had to trick-or-treat at grandpa's house when I was very little, I was scared of it even though it normally was a loving granparent-type home. At night, I don't care what you say, it can be very spooky!!! Why don't you try both? Do the outside thing first during the first movie, then when things settle down and you're in the middle of the second movie, excuse yourself to the bathroom and dress us as the Scream guy and just stand in that dark hallway that leads to the living room. Oh, I'd die, I tell you!

My poor kid would be tramatized for life if I did that to him. It's one thing to play a prank during the movie, but to wake a kid up... that's just too far.

He rev'd that thing up and scared the you-know-what out of them. Once the older brother and dad started cracking up, the rest of the boys thought it was hysterical!
