Also, some schools have early entry into a reserved area for Grad Nite but grads and day Guests do not mix. Grads are only allowed to enter the Park for playing once all of the day Guests have left. Most grads remain on their buses until they are allowed to walk over and enter. Grad Nites are fun but they can be hectic for day Guests. Downtown Disney is definitely a great suggestion for the evening.

We had to walk from the Timon parking lot so we were pretty far from the regular day guests.

Florida does Grad Nites very differently, I'm guessing because the kids come from further away. Originally Posted By amazedncal2 disnseylandfan8, just a suggestion for your friend. We often find ourselves at DLR during a Grad Nite. Other than the early closure I don't find the day any different than another day. The only suggestion I may add is if they are thinking of spending their last night in DTD for a late dinner after the park closes they would want to make a reservation. Often guests don't realize that the park is closing early, especially Main Street. Many people head right to World of Disney and the closer restaurants. Also, the restaurants in Disneyland stop serving earlier on early closing nights. I would guess at 7pm, We have found ourselves wandering around the Westside looking for something to eat or drink to no avail.
