Please tell me it isnt true. I have done the balcony everytime that we have gone to DL. I have never done riverside seating. Can someone give me their opinon on it.

Is it worth the money? Or should we just try and see it from the normal viewing area? Thanks in advance, Im trying to plan out our trip and I need to know how we are going to see Fantasmic! Thanks again!

In fact, my son, who loved the balcony, now prefers Riverside. Our CM definitely didn't have the polish all the CMs we had met in the balcony had - heard a few complaints, something a CM should never do in front of a guest - but the CM who took my seat reservation - "Bora" (don't know how to spell her name) - was top notch pure Disney, so maybe our CM was an anomaly. All the young ladies in the balcony always made me feel like a very welcomed guest. If the money is not a major concern, I would suggest you try it once before you decide against it. I know we will be doing it again!

The balcony is done. I'm sure GrumpiesWife will be here soon. She emailed me that their balcony reservations for 8/1 had been canceled and they were offered Riverside in it's place.

We are trying the Riverside seating, I think it'll be fun to try out the other view/desserts. I'll come back here after and let you know how it was...

The hostesses checking you in are sloppy looking too, and don't have the polish or grace that they should have for the huge prices Disney charges.

At least get those kids to put their ties on, button their shirts, hitch up their pants, and pretend they have just a couple of ounces of class as they serve customers for 60 bucks a pop.

CM's really are going downhill, even when you are paying above and beyond the price of admission. It's very easy to see this at the Riverside Desert Buffet area.

We're planning on riverside viewing in late September and will do it either way but I was just wondering....

As for the hosts and hostess, I thought they were wonderful. One of the hostesses was particularly friendly, especially with our baby. He absolutely adored her and flirted with her every time she walked by!

I enjoyed Riverside just as much as I enjoyed Balcony seating!

How early are we allowed to check in?

    Thanks!
